Duingt is located on the western side of the Annecy Lake and deserves its name "Pearl of the Lake". Next to St Jorioz, Duingt (pronounced DOH-WAH!), offers an exceptional mountain and lake view. The cycle track from Annecy to Ugines (35kms) crosses the village and connects the villages along the lake very easily by bike. Many activities are possible in Duingt: water activities in summer (wake-boarding, water-skiing, kayaking, hiking, etc) outdoor activities nearby in winter (snowshoeing at Semnoz (20mins), alpine ski in La Clusaz (40mns) or in the 3 Valleys resorts (about 1h) The "best bakery of the lake" is located in Duingt few meters away from your apartment, as well as a bookstore, and high-quality cuisine (Clos Marcel or Wakpala on site for example).
